This is my first Puerh Tea Post in my Blog

Hello everybody!

I am glad to have my own Puerh Tea Blog today to share my Puerh Tea experience with you.
Maybe, I should let you have some ideas of who I am.

I am a private Puerh Tea Collector since 1993.
Most importantly, I am a local Hong Kong citizen.
I am lucky that I was born in Hong Kong and engaged with Puerh Tea when it was not so popular. That means I was able to collect those aged Puerh Tea which cannot be easily accessed nowadays.

I truely believe that learning Puerh Tea is not difficult, however, you must accumulate a lot of experience.

In short, how to appreciate Puerh Tea is experience, experience and experience.
Puerh Tea is an Art learnt through experience.

I hope you will enojoy my Blog in the near future.

It is quite boring to just have text descriptions without viewing any picture, right?
Here we go...
The following Aged Raw Puerh Tea Cakes are one of my series of collections.

Will you ever drink the tea in your collection or do you just keep collecting them? Puerh is my favorite tea, athough I have absolutely no knowledge about it - except I can tell the really bad puerh (leaves a really bad aftertaste in the throat) to the better ones (the ones that come in a flat round cake).

Hi, ace.

It is very nice to have my first comment in my First Puerh Tea Blog.

I am excited that I could have a quick reply like that.

Thank you for your interactive reactions.

Back to Puerh tea, I do drink my tea collections because, as I said in my first post, the way to learn more about Puerh Tea is to experience it. That means you have to brew the tea and taste the tea. Otherwise, you will never gain any experience in the wide horizon of the Puerh Tea world.

Actually, I can truely tell you that if you are an experienced Puerh Tea lover, you can even distinguish with 80% confidence whether a Puerh Tea cake is a good one or a bad one by just simply touch, smell and feel the dry tea cake (I mean you do not have to actually brew it).

In order to let people to have more understanding in Puerh Tea, it is important to have evidence, that is, photos of my Puerh Tea Collections.

Let you have some more ideas by pictures:-

(I do not dare to think of writing on all of my collectables)

I had some Simplified Font two weeks ago. It was not bad, although I find it overpriced at current prices.

I am curious -- where do you usually shop in Hong Kong?

Dear Clouds-I am drinking and enjoying many Pu-erh's. I am biulding my collection and enjoy finding new teas. I like your pictures and the straight approach. I have a current affair with the guang yun's. WHat do you think about them?

Dear marshaln,

Sorry for my late reply.
I was very busy this week. Exhausted.

Congratulation.

You bought some Zhongcha Simplified Chinese Characters.
It is a good puerh tea. I love to brew this tea.
I just brewed one today as TODAY is Sunday.
I just sit down and relexed. No more work to do and have fun with my Zhongcha Simplified 1970s.
I took some photos after brewing. You may go to see my Blog.

I shopped around in Hong Kong including those traditional old tea shops in Shang Wan such as Lam Kie Yuen Tea Company.
